  Highly recommended place to either have a pint or meal. The lunch we had was simply delicious and staff super friendly! Lovely atmosphere inside and surrounding!

  Having eaten at most of the best pubs and restaurants across Surrey , the bat and ball in Farnham ranks right at the bottom...
  The so called food system they have is primitive, especially when you wish to order your desert, absolutely useless which includes the so called manageress who's skills of manners and people skills would be better suited to a burger van..., they do not handle criticism at all.. and if anything is said...they throw their toys out they're pram!
  Roast dinner served with only 3 potatoes and paultry carrots, beef was only good thing on the plate...
  Drive way to this pub is up driveways of people's back garden.... far from high class...
  This is certainly not an establishment I would recommend..

  Excellent food for choice, conception, service and taste! We had Squid balls, chickpea mash and aubergine, others had equally superb homemade chicken and ham hock pie, (huge pieces of meat!) Hppstar ale, well kept and served. Lovely beer garden, parking and lots of room inside. Very good Pub.
